Meridian Muscle Reset (MMR)

The name implies that the technique stimulates the meridian and musculoskeletal system and reset it back to default.

The Philosophy and principle of MMR is based on improving chi and blood circulation by manipulating soft tissues and joints. Meridian Muscle Reset (MMR) alleviates musculoskeletal problems by decompressing the joints involved, releasing stiffed muscles and also break apart the adhesions created by muscle knots.

Blockage : Chi and Blood circulation

Etiology of blockage

Presence of Inflammatory markers as a result of homeostatis response to external factors on the body. Inflammation markers narrow the space in the blood vessels, reducing optimal flow of blood and chi.

  • Musculoskeletal system : External factors like injuries, overuse due to repetitive movement put strain on the musculoskeletal system. As a response to increased load, the body tightens up to prevent damage. As a result, these responses manifest as muscles knots, trigger points, bone spurs, etc

  • chemicals substance in the blood: Glucose, cholesterol, acid uric. People with elevated substance level have high blood viscosity which then reduces optimal blood circulation.

Pathophysiology of blockage

  1. Injury

  2. Repetitive and overuse muscles and joints

  3. Lifestyle

    1. Diet

    2. Stress

    3. Sleep

  4. Genetic / Congenital - mutation

MMR can treat the following conditions
